We're so excited to share that a concert was announced at our outdoor amphitheater for the evening of our welcome reception. We were able to secure tickets and get a block of seats together for everyone who RSVP'd yes to the welcome reception. The amphitheater is located in the center of town with a view of the river and is a quintessential Bend experience. Come sing us into our wedding weekend! We can't wait to see you! Details: Bags: Do not bring a purse or bag. Here's a link to the list of allowed items. You'll want to read it closely as they do not make exceptions or offer storage. We suggest keeping it simple and just bringing your phone, small wallet, and coat. https://www.bendconcerts.com/venue-information Time: Doors open as early as 5pm. The brides plan to arrive around 7pm. Concert starts at 7:30. Transportation: If you plan to drive, there is typically parking available in Old Mill Shopping Center. The amphitheater is also a short Uber ride from most accommodations. Weather permitting, the brides plan to walk. You're welcome to walk with us. We will depart from the Oxford hotel around 6:00pm and take the 2-mile walk along the river to the concert venue. We will take the shortcut home after the concert, which is about 1-mile. Tickets: Your ticket will be at will-call. This is a little booth at the entrance of the venue. Give them your name, and they'll give you your ticket. Once you go through security and enter the venue, head toward the seated section. There, you'll likely show your ticket, and they'll give you a wristband to enter the seated section. Food: The venue has great food trucks and drinks. You could eat beforehand, or plan to have dinner at the concert. Attire: It can get chilly after sunset. We highly recommend bringing a warm coat, even if you don't think you'll need it. Lastly, if you RSVP's yes before you booked your flight, and now realize you won't make the welcome reception, we totally understand, but send us a text and let us know so that we can offer your ticket to a local friend.

We've rented the Bend Trolley to show our out-of-town guests around town. We'll be taking you on a fun tour of Bend, including a food truck park, brewery, our home, and maybe a few views and surprises along the way. Don't worry, we won't make you hike today;) All aboard! We can't wait to show you this place we call home! The trolley will operate as a shuttle for two (2) groups. Group 1 will depart from the Oxford hotel at 11:30am. Group 2 will depart from the Oxford hotel at 12:00pm. The groups are for transportation purposes; we will all be together at the stops. The big day! Ceremony + Reception to follow. The venue is outdoor/indoor. We plan to be outside for a portion of the event - weather permitting. Transportation will be provided for out-of-town guests who selected this option on their RSVP. Meet at The Oxford Hotel at 3:00pm, departure at 3:15pm. Return transportation will depart Tetherow at 10pm.

Sadly, the low snow year cut our mountain season short, which means this event is canceled. On the bright side, you get to sleep in! We hope to see you at the river float later that day!" (Hawaiian shirts welcome ;))

The river in Bend floats through the middle of town! Find your way to Riverbend Park around 1:15pm to grab your tube! The float will launch by 1:30pm. If you'd like, we've arranged for some shuttle vans to pick up those who are floating at The Oxford Hotel at 1pm, as well as pick up at the end of the float to return to The Oxford Hotel at 3:30pm. Make sure everything you bring can get wet/is waterproofed. The float ends at Drake Park/near downtown. If you do not plan to take the shuttle or walk, then we suggest arranging a ride with someone who is not floating. (Uber often will not take wet riders).
